AGenTech Equities · Registered Investment Adviser
Disciplined options income. Concentrated conviction.
A founder-led registered investment adviser executing a single derivative income strategy on a concentrated portfolio of high-conviction U.S. equities. California-registered.
Our philosophy
One strategy, run well.
AGT Equities exists to run one strategy well. We believe concentrated conviction beats diversified mediocrity over long time horizons, and that options — used systematically, not speculatively — are the right tool to turn that conviction into income.
Every position is one we'd hold without the overlay. The overlay is the discipline; the underlying thesis is the reason.
This strategy utilizes a concentrated portfolio which may result in greater volatility than a diversified portfolio.
Three disciplines, one strategy.
The Derivative Income strategy combines a concentrated equity book with systematic options overlay. Each discipline reinforces the others.

What we're reading.
A curated shelf of the writing that shapes how we think about concentration, options, and patient capital. We recommend what we actually read.
"The Indispensability of Context"
Howard Marks on why concentrated bets require deep context, not conviction alone. One of the clearer arguments for the posture we run.

Terry Smith's annual defense of concentration. The discipline he describes for equity selection is the same discipline we apply before putting an overlay on top.
